August 21: Shooting A "Pepe"

Colorado Springs, CO

While on our tour of Colorado every time we saw someone sitting on a bench we would at least point our cameras that way and say, "there's a Pepe."

We have been so impressed with **Pepe's Bench Shots ** that it seemed right and proper to give him that honor.

Below I am chewing myself out for taking so many shots of myself! ;-)

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
1/320s f/10.0 at 11.0mm iso400 full exif

wonderful shot! I love the way it makes me want to slide down the bench to get closer. The perspective is great. This lens is really a fun toy!

I believe this will be the first time I have ever voted for an SP. The composition and creativity of this shot are wonderful, Robin. Good job! GMV!

Great perspective. Almost a zooming effect with that bench. Nicely done.

Great bench shot! That lens is amazing, as is your creativity. The face-off is hysterical!

Great bench shot, Robin. Way to "go Pepe" on us. I told Pepe about that phrase we coined and he thought it funny. I miss you!

Robin,
I'm just out of words. Thank you very much for your kind comments. This is a fantastic shot!
For me PAD is about new frienships and learning from each other.

oh that's brill! (neat how you've put the bend of the bench on the corner of the frame too)
Guest 21-Aug-2005 21:45
Cool perspective with the bench lines - nicely done. You obviously miss your travel companions, so you've invented imaginary friends to share the bench with you! LMAO!!!!!!
