August 4: Smooching Limestone – AKA The Kissing Camels

Colorado Springs, CO

This is another iconic Colorado Springs shot. The ** Garden of the Gods ** is a public park and is an incredible place to visit.

Unfortunately one of the "humps' fell a number of years ago. I made an inset of the said camels for those who's imagination or eyesight is failing. ;-)

I heard about this from one of my fellow Mt. Bike riders. So cool to see. Your travels are taking you all over creation!! ;)

Another familiar shot. Interesting fact about the one camel's hump...I didn't know that.

I sure did enjoy your company today ;-)...thanks for everything.

Great shot - Glad you did the inset I wouldn't have saw them otherwise. I was trying to figure out how the whole red limestone area was 2 camels then finally saw them on the top left after studing the insert :)

Beautiful landscape shot. Glad the camels are kissing each other cause I surely don't want to kiss a camel.

Tremendous landscape shot - can't see any Camels though!

Great colors, I think the 17-40 L is clearly the better landscape lens
