I started at the Cave as a guide at the age of 16 in 1953, and this is where I first started smoking! I recall feeling really sick and coughing and hacking, and eventually after several realy tough days I became like the other male guides... a confirmed smoker.

I finally quit smoking for the last time on my birthday in 1983. Wow what an addiction. I am SO glad I quit.
