July 28: Off to the Mountains

Colorado Springs, CO

Judy and Dave have a cabin situated at about 9000 feet in the **Sangre de Cristos** mountains. We are headed that way today for a few days.

This morning I was pleased to see that the clouds and rain have left. This view is looking northwest from my hotel room.

Pretty nice view, for a hotel room! 9000 feet is a pretty lofty place to hang out for a few days - I can't wait to get out there! Question - how did you take a 28mm shot with a 70-300mm lens? Now that's a trick!
