Day Six: Mending the Fences

Durango, CO

My great friend and host Herb is seen here mending a fence around his vegetable garden. I managed to record the effort without having to get personally involved. LOL.

We are off for a day of touring and picnicking.

I'm slowly beginning to add images to my Southwestern Gallery at http://www.pbase.com/rtwo/southwest_usa_

I don't know why...I can't put my feelings into words like Jude MC can but this image grabbed me. The composition, the action, the focus in the feller's eyes... I love it. GMV! And to coin the style of someone I know... You nailed this one, Robin.

Nice action shot, Robin. That is some high fence--must be a deer fence.

Nice shot Robin. Glad you were able to assume the role of the photographer to avoid work.

Looks like Herb has a wild side to him
as the inside of his hat would suggest.

I really like the motion added to the hammer.

Nice shot Robin, nice use of light, good composition and the sense of motion all add up to a great image.

Now go do the Million Dollar Highway and lets see some shots from the top of the San Juan Mountains.

Hi Robin. Quite an effecive photo composition with excellent blur of the hammer which does a great job of accentuating the action and adding interest to the candid pose. Good limited shallow DOF too. Best Regards, Michael.
