I’m experimenting with my fisheye lens. Here I studied the question of how close can I get and still have a decent depth of field.

By the way, this is my first ever image of a piece of fruit.

1/60s f/18.0 at 15.0mm iso400 full exif

First fruit, Robin? I thought it was on the 1st year required list... First, I like your light. It's even and not overpowering, it kind of surrounds the apples. Second, the dof is excellent, well rounded you could say. Third, just how close were you??

I agree with Herb. What I can't figure out is whether the green apple is a different apple or a reflection of the red apple, in which case why isn't it a red apple as well? The labels look about the same, well maybe not but sort of, so i'm all confused. i need coffee.
