June 4: Snapshot

Rancho Bernardo, CA

I’m having a very quiet day here; back exercises, poached eggs on toast, a bit of baseball and golf on TV, finishing two of my novels, and grabbing a quick photo out in my backyard to “make my PaD day.”

Revised per the good advice and coaching from Karen Leaf.

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
1/125s f/7.1 at 40.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Beautiful - we don't really get the cactus thing around here - too wet and cold in the winter. But I really love all the cactus flowers, variety, etc. Nice shot.

This flower looks as though it is lit from within. Lovely shot.

I'm sure glad to see Laine has those kinds of moments too :)
Outstanding Robin, I really like the crispness, and the wonderful b/g. Could you have cropped so the cactus was at the lower right corner? Voting.

I see now what happened. Looking at Herb's cactus shots then your daily, the grey matter still slipped to the right after having slept all night on it...please delete, Robin.

Oh no, not an injury too, Herb !! I'm still carrying the arm injury I had before you left to come out here. With daily exersize I can look forward to it's repair in another 12-18 months they tell me...hope you have a speedier recovery.
This cactus is beautiful.
