March 25: Spring Bud

I decided to use my macro lens and tripod today.

This tiny bud is about 1.25 inches long! It is one of hundreds on a bush out by my front drive.
Good Friday has always been kind of a depressing day for me, so I have decided to celebrate it with beauty and color.

Death Valley is a bit of a drive from SD, but I heard it's worth getting out there. All the wildflowers that have popped up! Perfect Easter shot!
