November 25: Thanksgiving Day

Torrey Pines Glider Port

Admittedly I’m posting this one a bit early, but T-Day obligations and all that, you know.

The message: I hope the only Turkeys in your life are the one’s you eat! ;-)

For non US residents not celebrating the holiday, best wishes to you all also.

More seriously I am quite thankful that I’ve met many wonderful and helpful friends in this little online community. Your images and your comments have been supportive and instructive. Thank you for all you have given to me and others. Have a wonderful Thursday.

Maybe he should have a bullseye on his side...
Hey - did Louise just spill some beans down there?!! Way to go, big guy. ;)
Happy Turkey Day, Robin. And tell Larry to stop being such a cynic. It's about family and sharing and interdependence - a valuable lesson for all of us. Even those of us at the short end of the stick.

Thanksgiving is a strange American celebration in that it started to celebrate our clever ability to rip off the Native Americans ... and we were British at the time :)

Great image, pity about the upside down reversed shadow or is that a reflection on a big white building occupant?
Guest 25-Nov-2004 06:56

I love turkey. On the other side, Turkey is a big problem and in the center of all discussions in Europe at the moment.
