Besides attending sessions and presenting, I volunteered to be the “official” photographer of our conference. I shot a couple hundred images Saturday and Sunday and they will be displayed as a slide show before and after each plenary session. Here we have two old friends greeting each other the first night.
Virtually all my shots have been with a flash which has been quite educational for me. I’m learning about the difference between the built-in flash and the add-on shoe-mounted 550 EX. The built-in flash shots required more work in Photoshop than the ones with the 550 EX. Either way it is still a struggle to get the color corrected in many cases.
I loved shooting all these candids. People seemed quite willing to turn and smile for me.
