August 14: Hummers Ruin Everything

Rancho Bernardo, CA

Since my Friday SP got usurped by yesterday’s sunset image, I thought I’d play catch up today with a reflection of me in a vehicle bumper. However, as I should have known, Hummers ruin everything.
And, to my great surprise and distress, this particular monster is always parked out in front of a local fitness gym!

Maybe one of these days I will go shoot my pad at the hummer dealer across from where I buy dog and cat supplies. There is one things worse than a hummer and that is a whole lot of hummers. I like the sp aspect of this shot.

Yeah yeah...but at least they look cool!

Nice photo, I like the frame.

Nice shot Robin...And as for the Hummer...7 Miles to the gallon is all I can tell you!

Robin, it looks like this thing could eat you up and spit you out! They really are monsters. I've seen a few around Toronto. They're urban assault vehicles - who needs such a machine in a city??/ I don't get it! Fun shot! I like the concept!

It looks like a giant set of teeth! Imaginative SP, BTW!

And to think at one point I thought they were cool-- no longer, mind you.

Interesting shot, tho you (the subject?) could have been more prominent?

I like this picture. I hate Hummers. 'Nuff said.

You are so right - there's a big yellow one parked down the street from me right now. Makes me think of all the soldiers who are dying in Iraq to keep the place safe for Halliburton, and all the Iraqis who are caught in the crossfire because they are sitting on the world's second largest oil reserves. And we Americans just go on sucking up as much of it as we can, simply because we can. I think Hummers are disgraceful.

Very clever image!! And all cars should be very small and electric.

never seen a Hummer but i bet they're a pain on the roads with the size etc

The grill almost looks like a Jeep Cherokee grill

Could it be the Governator?

Not only Hummers do so. Most vehicles are destructive for atmosphere anyway, on the other side this 4x4 revolution has brought owners of forests and authorities in Europe to close all ways to access offroad places. What is that good for to run across the country, especialy for people who realy do not need this.

LOL, love it Robin, I would love to see if the man that drives it is big and burly. Would be kind of funny seeing some skinny, skrawny guy come out and hop into it. hehehehe.
