July 20: Morning's Pleasures

Rancho Bernardo, CA

I start each day with a hot cup of coffee (freshly ground) and the morning paper with KTLA news on in the background.
(added later) I forgot to mention that before the paper etc., I drink my coffee and go onto Pbase usually for 20 to 30 minutes.

I'll have coffee, but you can keep the newspaper. That rag infuriates me! Nice shot, but I'd have cropped out (or moved) the vitamin ? bottle atop on the right.

Coffee looks like it's been a little too long in the perc. LOL
I'm lucky if I can get my hair dry before walking out the door. Decaf (cream only, please), cinamon raisin bagel, not toasted cream cheeze on the side. Said in monotone. They see my car drive up and have it waiting for me :)

I only read the online versions now! No time to read the real thing! But I do have the coffee! but i get mine from Starbucks! they know me by name! It is amazing how easy it is to get into a routine....I usally check pBase before I leave for coffee/work!

I honestly can't remember the last time I read an actual newspaper (sad, I know)... I get all my news from CNN.com!

Yeah, that coffee does look green! Better check the expiration date on that creamer, Robin! I always start my day with coffee, but pbase usually has to wait until I get home from work.

I start with muesli, squeezed orange, banana and yoghurt. I don't take the San Diego Union Tribune either. It's nice to have a set routine, isn't it. ;-)

Where is the toast and Salmon Carpaccio, the egg and the mixed salad. For sportsman, morning pleasures look different, I hate eating newspapers.

I start MY day with a GIANT cup of fresh ground coffee and a surf around PBASE! Nice morning shot. I used to read the papers, but I decided to stick my head in the sand about 4 years ago (wonder why!) and I haven't yet taken it out!!
