Sober SP

One can look back on critical incidents in one’s life … birthday, wedding(s) and etc.

The biggest critical incident in my life took place 22 years ago today. I quit drinking after being a very heavy drinker for 32 years. No regrets and ironically once I acted it wasn’t that difficult. The best thing I have ever done.

If you struggle with any kind of addiction … take a look at its effect on your life.

Congratulations! I'm so proud of you and so many can learn from this! My ex husband was an alcoholic and now is sober. It took him quite a while and a stint in jail to finally realize he had a problem. And, he lost me due to it. Sad, but now he is doing well and I'm happy about that!

I quit smoking 38 years ago after smoking for only 2.
I remember how hard that was at first, then got so easy.
One of the better decisions I've made. Thanks for sharing.
