Some of you may recall that my best friend and business partner, Michele Moomaugh, was killed 17 months ago. Ed has since remarried to Gay, shown here.

For a long time I had trouble adjusting to that seemingly quick change, however I invited them over tonight for the first time and enjoyed meeting her and seeing him for the first time in over a year. They are happy and well adjusted. A reminder that life goes on … and it is for the living.

It can be difficult to move on, but good for them as life is so short.

I think your feelings are quite natural. I'm so glad that you were able to move beyond them and I'm sure Ed and Gay are two. This is a lovely photo.

Sometimes I have that problem. A friend of mine lost his wife in Nov. 2007. In July, 2008 he remarried--remarried his first wife.

Sometimes it may seem quick, but sometimes you must have someone in your life to move forward. Looks like Ed has filled that void and I'm betting Michele is probably happy that he has found someone. You never know, she may have had something to do with it. He looks happy!
