The very first non-San Diego Pabaser I met was * Beck Chew * He and Katie lived in Tillamook, OR. The past couple of years he battled cancer, and * Katie Chew * posted this past week that he has died.

It is always a grievous loss when we lose one of our own. My sympathies and best wishes are with Katie and the family.

Lovely tribute. He looks like a great guy..with a twinkle in his eye. My sincere thoughts to his wife kids and all who loved him. Looks like a unique camera strap on his camera.....more colourful than the usual black.

Another good man who died from the dreadful disease I am trying so hard to help fight. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to Katie and her family. May God watch over and keep them safe and give them strength. Wonderful image of Beck.

Beck & Katie, along with yourself, Gary, Herb, Gayle, Breland, Karen, Petesie & Tom were the first American folks I had the pleasure to get to know in my early days of padding. My sympathy is extended to Katie & their family. May he rest in peace.
