"Timmmberrrrrrrr"

It's risky, but I saved $400 by letting nature take it's course. Of course I haven't been able to sleep for the past six years.
At about 5:00am on Dec 1st, everyone in the house was awoken by a loud crash. I jumped up and ran upstairs when I realized it was to early for Santa. The only other explanation was the dreaded tree. 75 feet of dead wood just waiting for the perfect moment to upset my life. I threw on raincoat, slippers, and a hat, grabbed the flashlight and bolted out the door. It had been raining all night, and if any branches had impaled the roof I wanted to get it covered as quick as possible. The house was not even touched, not even a scrape by a branch. It took out a small mimosa tree on the way down, but that is it. There is about 18" of space between the house and the tree. Guess I'll have to see if I can get the ol' chainsaw started, or....I could just continue to let nature takes it's course...?
