filet mignon and Wild chanterelles (info)

The chanterelles were sauteed in a mixture of butter,
canola and walnut oil, perfectly complementing
the flavor and texture of the steak.

The steak was briefly seared outdoors over quite hot hardwood charcoal.
Rare: still cool in the center. MMMMM!

Lebororo, I stand corrected! ;) But that's just my definition of rare...

A rare steak is red inside and its center is warm!
Même si le plat est d'expression française, "saignant" cela n'enlève rien à sa qualité de dégustation... Ça me donne faim cette histoire!
