I tried scaling this wall as a shortcut to taking the switchback road (see "amber fort switchback road" photo) to the upper fort.
The gateway at the start of the road is visible at the right center in this photo.
It also is the start of the same bulwark (parts hidden by trees) that becomes the viewpoint of the photo.

It was a mistake, but fortunately no mishaps occurred.

1. Before scaling wall, passed by a snakeskin that was lying on the hillside. It was a cobra skin.

2. The hike up the crest of the wall was a LOT longer than what it seemed from the bottom.

3. The bulwark terminated at the edge of the main fort wall, top of which was 20 feet above.
Luckily, there was a way off, after backtracking a bit
(only a 6 foot drop to hillside, after hanging from fingertips).
