Video View Setup #1

Video Setup #1
Well, here it is. One picture equals 1000 words .... or at least a few hundred. This quick sketch explains much simpler and
easier than trying to explain with words. This setup allows me to be well away from the camera and retain full viewing and
shutter control. It is also completely portable if desired. I have just started to use it with the cables distance of 50 feet.
I don't know what the max. would be but pretty confident it is at least 75 ft and probably 100ft. With a 'wireless' remote
the remote shutter 'cable' can be eliminated, and with that, if the FZ30 is run on battery power you are
down to just the cable for the TV Cardbus (#5).

The image received at the laptop is not as fine as the one seen on the LCD/EVF or any final image displayed on a PC screen,
(15.4" WSXGA+ 1680x1050 TFT. Was hoping it would be; but that's ok as the primary purpose is to be out of site from wildlife.

When I'm in a situation with handy electricity I always opt to use the Pani Charger/AC Adapter (#7), (that came with my FZ10).
I prefer the Pani Remote Shutter (#3), but use the 40 foot extension cables from Phayee.
The video cable extensions between (#8) and (#5) come from Radio Shack.
