Bluets (Houstonia caerulea) / Bedstraw Family (Rubiaceae)
A low plant with erect, slender stems bearing 'pale blue (to white-ish) flowers with golden-yellow centers'.
Flowers: about 1/2" (1.3cm) wide, with 4 flattish lobes.
Ref. Audubon Field Guide To North American Wildflowers (Eastern Region)

NOTE: Two different mutations were observed among the standard 4 petaled flowers. A 'three' petaled variety and
a 'five' petaled variety, and found in different locals. So mutations must be a common trait in this species.
