'Twas a cold grey day, on both sides of the border.. With a slow start, for me, the interloper from the south, that got worse before it got better.. Clammy clothes in the dryer, return home, after getting ½-way to the bridge, to rid car of contriban, which surely would not have escaped the keeninspection @ the border. And then once @ the BFC... A 20 minute wait for the lens-fog to clear from the gross heat & humidity that the B/F's flourish in. But eventually I did stumble upon the Southern Ontario floozie contingent. So I got about ½ as much time with the B/F's as the rest... Then a little lunch, rounded out with a couple hours in the floral display greenhouse that's almost directly across the street from 'The Falls'.. And finally, a little camera talk over coffee while we waited for nightfall. Unortunately, lack of (free) parking close enough to 'The Falls', colder than we cared to be in temps, wind-blown mist from 'The Falls' & snow, coerced us all to call it a night & we parted company.. They headed down-river & on down the Lake Ontario shore back to the GTA.. And I upriver along the more rural canadian banks of the 'Mighty Niagara' & across @ 'Fort Erie', via 'The Peace Bridge', without further inspection re-entering.
Then home to North Buffalo....
