| This is called a Flemish Coil. It looks good but it is really not a good way to treat a line. A Flemish coil gathers dirt easily and if the line must run free in a hurry, a Flemish coil may be prone to kink or snarl. But the Flemish coil works nicely in the short term; like for taking pictures for the Transglobal Challenge. |
