| While at anchor, I have to bring water to the boat by jerry can. Shibumi carries 400 gallons of water. I estimate Jill and I use about 10 gallons a day. So I haul about that much a day from shore. Water weighs about 8 pounds per gallon, so that is 80 pounds of water a day. Water costs five cents per gallon here in Boot Key Harbor. |
