Key Largo - Friday the 10th to Sunday the 12th

Friday, started out rather cold,
but the temperature warmed considerably as the day progressed.
Jill and I walked to the recycling yard to
dispose of the bad fuel syphoned from my generator.
On the way back we stopped to have breakfast at a great little coffee shop.

We plan to go back there before we leave Key Largo.

Coleen, we found the real African Queen. **Take a look**.

When we got back to the boat I hooked up our generator.
We now have a lot more electric power onboard.
We were invited to Caribbean Call for happy hour.
At sunset we went back to Shibumi to grill some steaks and enjoy a quiet moon-lit night,
no cameras and no computers allowed (well I had to sneak a picture of the moon).

We stayed on board most of Saturday, only venturing ashore to buy some reading glasses.
Jill broke her glasses, so we had to find a drugstore pair until we find a LensCrafters or some such.
We had happy hour and sunset celebration aboard Gauneka Saturday night.
Then we came back to Shibumi to battened-down for the cold-front that came through at one o'clock Sunday morning.
It is still blowing outside, but we are comfortable and warm on Shibumi.

You make me dream with your series of pictures... I have been in Key Largo, but it was so many years ago...you help me to refresh my memories, the pictures are of good quality. Marisa
