Merry Christmas to each and every one of you
and may the new year be all that you hope it to be.

Each year we like to write a Christmas letter to our friends. From that we fashion a 12-page booklet which becomes our Christmas card. Every year I put off writing the letter and creating the booklet until the last possible moment. And every year it is when I finally sit down and write the first draft of the booklet that I start getting into the Christmas spirit. It is funny how that works. Maybe I should start on the letter a little earlier in the season.

This year, awesomely talented Jill made chocolate candy as gifts. They are magnificently delicious.
