I finally had the trim painted on my Jeep.

Last year I took the wood-grain looking decal off of the trim. It was peeling badly and looked like sin. Jill was concerned that the bare trim needed protection from the sun and elements in general. I didn't have that concern. I just didn't like the stark contrast that the light colored trim created with the wood-grain veneer on the body of the vehicle.

I found an auto body shop owner in Daytona Beach who agreed to paint the trim in one day. I took it there a little after nine o'clock in the morning and picked up the same day (yesterday) at four in the afternoon.

It looks alright.

Jill is happy because it is protected from the elements. I am happy because the side of the Jeep does stand-out like a flashing neon sign anymore.
