December 12, 2006

My younger sister, Lorraine, checks her email on my daughter's computer; a machine that is normally used when the sun is on the other side of the sky.

Lorraine is amazing. She lives only in THIS moment. She will not let the future take from the now. And her past has less power than her today.

If I were to look for a role model, it would be she.

Like the light on her hand and very nice outlook on life.

A great outlook on life! Looks like she could use a bigger hand here ;-)

Amazing woman and approach to life. She is also lucky to have a loving big brother.

A lovely way to be, unfortunately few af us are able to be like that including me.
There is an air of tranquility about this picture, or perhaps it's your description.
Whatever the reason it's very calming.

Beautiful how her hand looks here. She seems so special. I would say your parents were successful in raising amazing children.

Wow! What an awesome tribute. She must be an amazing woman and she is lucky to have you as a brother as you are to have her as a sister!

Nicely captured and indeed a role model. Hate that when the sun hits the monitor. :)

I tend to do the same. I simply ignore the future beyond tomorrow.
A light for a photographer, not a computer user ;-)

She sounds like quite a mentally healthy woman. Impressive.
Great art on the wall... that sun ray would drive me crazy.

Interesting shot Dave. Love the picture on the wall in the background. Sunlight is murder on a screen.
