Very good guesses as to the source of the light on yesterday's mysterious shadow
Cloudy skies put a cover over the sun today,
leaving the light source inactive.

It was Cliff and Cheryl's mailbox post, across the street.
The copper cap on the horizontal post reflected the noon sun to create the shadow.

The light was copper colored--should have been a clue.
