November 21, 2005

I spent a few days in Atlanta this past week.
While waiting at a traffic light I looked in the rear-view mirror and saw a goat crossing the street behind me.
My trusty Fuji F10 was in the seat beside me. This was the only shot I had. I didn't even have time to change the camera's settings.
I had lived in Atlanta from 1972 to 2004. This is the first time I ever saw a goat in the city streets.

Intrepid photography on the mean streets of Atlanta!

Very attracting eye shot.

Nice shot - love the selective colour. That's a fine looking F10 you've got there ;0)

This is very strange because I just noticed a farm I pass everyday has goats now. Must be the year of the goat. :) However, there is a big difference in a rural area having goats and a goat crossing in a big city like Atlanta. I like that you chose to capture this with your rear view mirror including the camera rather than shooting out the back of the car.

Thanks for the smile, including the camera in the mirrow made me chuckle. The goat is almost secondary.
