Wow! What memories of my dads Ford station wagon. It was burgurdy with a beige trim. It was a 1954 model. We went from LaGrange Georgia to Cheyenne Wyoming, then straight across the country east to north of Cincinati, Ohio and back home to Georgia in 14 days. I was only 13 at the time and certainly enjoyed it. The car did not. It broke down once in Arkansas and later in Minnestota at 11 pm on a Saturday night (water pump). There was 5 of us and a dog. The dog got chased by the wild donkeys in South Dakota. Sometimes I wished Dad had kept that car for me. Thank you for sharing !!!!!
