Chester to Liverpool Train

Liverpool Underground

Travelling up the Wirral and underneath The River Mersey, just pulled into Liverpool Central deep underground below the city.
Trains run every 15 minutes yet standing room only and many couldn't get on this train.
It's exactly one hour to the start of Liverpool's European Capital of Culture Ceremony at St George's Hall.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Great exposure in this! There is nothing like this around here - seems quite exotic to me!

I will have to show this picture to my husband. I have the Canon 17-55 lens and when he decided to get a dslr encouraged him to get this Tamron. Super shot! Reminds me of the New York City Subway!

PS, Very good candid shot, just about perfection.

What a lot of space here, very roomy.
Try taking a shot like this on the tube in London. Expecially the Northern Line.
I last travelled on it in the late 1970's, I still have bad dreams about it.

My gosh, that is alot of people crammed into a little space! I would not do very well riding on one of these.
