Not 100% on the ID of this butterfly; I first considered Cloudywings. Pahaska is the best match I could find with field guides & web sites, but I'm not familiar with the Pahaska Skipper. The spots are paler than the examples, but my specimen looks a bit worn.

The butterfly was too camouflaged against the sand, so I desaturated the background. Sometimes the camouflage is as fun as the subject itself, but not this time.
