Yummy. Reminds me that I had better start cooking for our US Thanksgiving. Yes, I know that is a few weeks away, but I like to go all out!

Happy T-giving! I'd be ready for another meal like this in about a month :)
Don't be suggesting changing the US T-giving day-it's bad enough the holiday shopping is a month long !

Thank you for the explanation, Russ. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I be heading down south of the border next month to celebrate my second Thanksgiving in one year :-)

It comes from Canada recognizing Rememberence Day in Nov. The Canadian Government decided that they didn't want 2 holidays together especailly ones that where so different so since 11/11 would always be the day of the WW1 armistace they moved Thanksgiving. In fact in the US Thanksgiving hasn't always been in Nov. and it's beleived the first one couldn't have been in Nov. but was more likely in Oct. How many places in the Northern US harvest their crops in the third week of Nov? :)
