Joanna's Gallery

Joni is a photography student at Salt Lake Community College. She shoots only film. She was visiting and wanted to take some pictures of her nephew. I handed her my *1st DS, set it to JPEG mode and aperture priority and said "it's all yours." I think these show that the JPEG's right out of the camera have great color rendition, good shadow detail and very good sharpness and quality. I shoot only RAW, but you can see that these JPEG's are just great. The only 'post processing' was to resize to 750 pixels on the long-side of the image. All shots were hand-held, ISO 400 with the Pentax DA 50-200 F4-F5.6 lens.
