Baha'i World Center

My wife and I are members of the Baha'i Faith. We are asked to make at least one journey, in one's lifetime, to the Baha'i World Center, on Mt. Carmel, in Haifa, Israel.
For us, this was that journey.
It was a splendid trip, we met Baha'is from all over the world, we ate delicious Israeli food, walked the streets of Akka and Haifa, visited the Baha'i Holy Places, and immersed ourselves in the history of the Faith. When taking photos I certainly had to take into account where I was at and would I be infringing on the contemplation of others. The photos were shot as if with family and the respect necessary of your closest friend. Yes, I could have taken longer to compose or looked for better vantage points, but that was not the reason to be there. Please enjoy the photos, and I would like to leave you with something that might explain what the Baha'i Faith is all about.

Wow. Ron. I saw the size of your camera, but didn't realize you were a Photographer with a capital "P." These are beautiful. Thanks for sharing. You even got that amazing light effect on the bus out of Haifa.
