Malaysia

Malaysia is a fascinating country not only for the every day tourist but especially for people that love unusual plants. It combines the flora of the Indonesian island with some typical aspects of the Thai flora.
You can roughly be divided Malaysia in two parts. One is Peninsular Malaysia wich is lies south of Thailand and the other part is divided in two states (Sabah and Sarawak) on the island of Borneo.
We spent most of our time on the west side of Penisular Malaysia but also some days on Borneo looking for orchids, the carnivorous Nepenthes and any other unusual plant we could find
