Common Ford Park is unusual in that it is a converted ranch along the lower colorado river in Austin Texas. The park has had minimal improvements, and appart from a grass area near the river and a house and lawn area that is used for weddings and receptions, the park is being restored to its natural state. One large project is a prarie restoration on several acres which is where the wild flower images were taken. The property also contains an old stable building, a creek, and a number of hiking trails.
