Umpqua River Lighthouse

Original structure first light, October 10, 1857
Current structure first light, December 31, 1894

With its signature two-white, one-red beacon, the Umpqua River Lighthouse was the first such structure to light the Oregon Coastline. The magnificent nighttime view of the rays emanating from the first-order Fresnel Lens has, in my opinion, no equal.
