Tracy Arm is a glacier carved fjord that goes east out of Stephens Passage about 60 miles south of Juneau. Peaks on both sidse extend up over 5000 feet and it ends at the South Sawyer Glacier. A beautiful passage.
Starting up Tracy Arm at the cold hour of 5:30 am
First sun on the fjord walls
Passing glacier ice - a "Bergy Bit"
Always amazing what glaciers can do
Not too many people watching from the aft deck
Fellow cold photographer
Ice and mountains
Through an S turn in the passage
Larger ice, but still a "Bergy Bit"
Hanging glacier
Absolutely wonderful wife bringing hot coffee
There's more ice in the water now
First look at the South Sawyer Glacier
The Captain said there was too much ice in the water to go farther
