Saigon, Vietnam

When I was serving in Vietnam I was never in Saigon, or what is now called Ho Chi Minh City.  Maggie and I have seen pictures showing a modern bustling city and it was.  We learned local people call it Saigon.  We had an absolutely fantastic guide and were able to see many parts of the city that played a role in the war.  We also had a wonderful bowl of Pho for lunch at a very nontouristy restaurant.  We really enjoyed the day.

This is certainly not the Vietnam I remember
