After we left St. Thomas, the Emerald spent a day at sea and then visited Princess’ “private” island in the Bahamas. The port is on the island of Eleuthera. The small harbor cannot accommodate large ship so the Emerald anchored off shore and used tenders to take passengers to the beach on the island. The next day we were back in Fort Lauderdale and soon in our car heading to Naples to visit Ginny, and then to Ocala to visit my cousin. We then wound our way back north on beautiful I95. All in all another great cruise.
A visit to the bridge is always fascinating
Big bridge
One could steer the ship from here
The even have palms and poinsettias
Good view aft

The wake was pretty
Tender operations at Princess Cays

And a blue cottage
The Emerald is framed
