Antigua is an independent island nation in the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles.
The capital is St. Johns where the ship moored. It was 81 degrees and sunny when we were
there. We took a driving tour around parts of the island.
Sailing into St. Johns
Beautiful morning colors
A tug comes to help
The Emerald with a palm branch
And without
Celebrity’s Mercury is next to the Emerald
They kind of dominate St. Johns
Cricket is very popular in Antigua
So is sailing
View from an old fort
And a view of the visitor’s center
It’s a Leeward Island, but it looks wind swept
Thanks for telling us
It is a cliff with a view of the Atlantic
Again
Some tiny flowers with a ray of sun light
Tall palm with a lot of sun light
Old structures at Nelson Dock Yards
Jenson from Jenson’s taxi and a neat van
Shops, Shoppers and a ship
Returning to the Emerald and Mercury
Long balcony and long ships
Lines
I am Celebrity and I respect Antigua
We will be home before the post cards make it.
The Emerald has “let go of its moorings and moved astern to clear the berth.”
