I have taken this kind of shot hundreds of times. The tonal range is huge between the instrument panel and the outside. Pick one for the exposure. I was carrying my 30D today and had the simple idea to pop up the little mostly useless flash. Given the lay out of the cabin I can only hold the camera over my head and hope for the best.
