Constructed as a Douglas C-47A-20-DK in Oklahoma City (OK)and taken on strength with the United States Army Air Force as 42-93127. Went to the USN with BuNo 17193 as R4D-5 and was later redesignated C-47H. Saw various civil registrations before retirement to the South Dakota Air and Space Museum at Ellsworth AFB.
