TF-104G 28+22 (c/n 5952) was spotted at Maching-Ingolstadt in storage, after a long life with both the Marineflieger (grey c/s and white cone) until 1985 and then Luftwaffe (JBG34-markings on intake). First flight 13 July 1967. Retired from active service on 8 April 1987 with 2.467 hours.

This crisp looking Starfighter still is with us today, since it 'escaped' delivery to the Turkish or Greek air force. It is preserved in Bessemer, Lanaken, Belgium.
