Former KLu- Piper L-21A Super Cub R-109 was retired in 1976 and got a second life in the Historical Flight at Gilze-Rijen. In 1989 the flight still was known as 'Stichting Vliegsport Gilze-Rijen' (sport aviation society Gilze-Rijen). In the 21st century, this Super Cub is brought back more to its original military markings, with 'R-109' and dayglow panels added.
