New political times meant new hardware for the Dutch. Hercules transport was needed and bought for the (peace) missions abroad. Until 1998, all long distance transport was taken care of by the Belgians with their dozen C-130H's operating for NATO from Brussels. C-130H-30 G-375 (c/n 5375) was one of the two new 'long' C-130's for 334 sqdn at Eindhoven. It's seen here on the runway of Leeuwarden in 1998.
