Minsk-Mazowiecki

In August 1989, MiG-29UB 42 entered service with 1PLM at Minsk-Mazowiecki. Times changed enormously in just a few years, but this Fulcrum soldiered on. Here it is seen in take-off at Minsk-Mazowiecki, now serving with the renamed 1ELT in May 2002. Note the UVP-unguided missile pods under both wings.
