One of the three small ferries crossing the Bergse Maas is this one, Bergschemaas9, between Dussen and Capelle. Here, time stood still. A picturesque landscape, but also the place where months of fierce fighting took place in 1944-45 between the Germans on the other bank and the Allies in the liberated south.
