Always impressive, a Chinook closeby. CH-47D D-664 of 298 sqdn was so kind to make a photographers-friendly landing at Gilze-Rijen. This is a former Canadian Air Force CH-47C, upgraded and sold to the Dutch around 1997. In 2012, it was obvious the airframes didn't have much more life left in them. Replacement is needed soon.
